Who qualifies as a first-time homebuyer?
Anyone who hasn't owned a home in the past three years typically qualifies. This includes individuals, couples, and families.

That’s okay. Techo Housing Agency offers financial counseling and education to help you prepare for homeownership in the future.

Do you help with down payment assistance?
Yes. We help identify and apply for down payment and closing cost assistance programs at the local, state, and federal level.

Do I need to be a U.S. citizen to qualify for assistance?
Not always. Some programs are available to permanent residents and others with legal immigration status. Our counselors can help you determine your eligibility.
