Our journey began like so many others: with one family chasing the dream of stability and home. When Alvaro Molinares first arrived in the United States, he didn’t speak the language, didn’t know the system, and didn’t have a roadmap. What he did have was an unwavering belief in family, hard work, and the power of a home to change everything.

 

Over the years, our family worked, learned, and leaned on each other—navigating a confusing housing system, building credit from scratch, and ultimately buying our first home. That one step became the foundation for everything that followed. It gave us security. It gave us pride. It gave us something to pass on.

 

But we knew too many people in our community were still being left out. Language barriers, financial roadblocks, and fear of the unknown were keeping good families from even trying. So we decided to do something about it.
